Function Description
Digital stroboscope with completely digital operation and extensive, useful equip-
ment. The device has a flash frequency of 0.3 to 175 Hz, which serves to display
rotation speeds from 20 to 10.500 RPM (rounds per minute). The microprocessor-
controlled device features the following important functions: Setting of the flash fre-
quency via keys, fast finder function, memory function for 10 flash frequencies, dis-
play in RPM and Hz, doubling and halving the flash frequency simply by the push of
a button, internal and external trigger function, RS-232 interface. The supply voltage
of the device is 230V / 50 Hz.
Operating the DS-01
A.) Preparing for Measuring
1. Connect the power cable to the power supply input socket (10). Observe a tight fit.
Now connect the earthed plug of the power cable with an earthed socket (230 V
AC/50 Hz) with protective ground.
Attention!
The protective conductor may not be interrupted in the device nor in
the power outlet as this poses mortal danger!
2. Turn the DS-01 on by setting the on/off switch (11) to position "1".
