The system REVERSE SENSOPLATE is equipped
with 3 ultrasonic sensors.
Ultrasonic detection is effective by reflexion of waves
on the obstacles.
The fields of detections of obstacle of the
SENSOPLATE are :
. Maximum depth: 148 cm.
. Maximum width: 190 cm.
. Maximum height: 90 cm.
. Last level of detection: 30 cm
These datas can vary appreciably according to the
position of the SENSOPLATE. The more the level of
the sensors of the SENSOPLATE will be parrallel on
the ground, the more the field of detection will be
optimal.
The more distant the obstacle is in the field, the less
the performance of reflexion is good. An obstacle of
small size will be less better detected to 1,4 m. of the
vehicle than to 50 cm. of the vehicle.
• Size of the obstacle:
The detected obstacle must be at least 8 diameter or
side cm. It can be metal, plastic, etc... If the obstacle
is too low (approximately < 10 cm of the ground), the
SENSOPLATE will not be able to detect it. The
positioning of the SENSOPLATE can vary these data.

- Bad weather: in the event of strong rain, the sensitivity of the ultrasonic sensors can be modified.
