GETTING TO KNOW YOUR REFRIGERATOR
CONTROL PANEL (KRP / KRB MODELS)
The electronic control system on your Hestan refrigerator maintains constant temperature in both
compartments and displays the measured temperature on the control panel. It also allows the user
to personalize settings of the various functions and provides alerts should a malfunction occur.

Switches the appliance (all compartments) between ON and
Stand by (Tap for three seconds).
Allows you to switch off the refrigerator compartment and
leave the FreshZone freezer compartment on (Tap for three
seconds).
Allows access to the control panel menu to change the
appliance's various settings.
Up/Down - refrigerator: Tap the refrigerator Up and Down
keys, to change the refrigerator temperature setting or to
navigate through the control panel menu.
Display: Shows the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer
compartments, the date and time, control panel menu and
various other messages.*
Up/Down - freezer (FreshZone): Tap the freezer Up and Down
keys, to change the FreshZone freezer compartment keys to
change temperature setting.
Tap to con rm selections made in the control panel menu.
Tap to turn the ice maker on or off.
Flashes to signal user alerts such as door being left open in
combination with a warning tone. Tap this key to deactivate
the warning tone.
