- Page 4 To connect R&G license plate illuminator, the original wiring needs to be ‘cut & shut’. To do this, cut the wiring connector off the OEM tail light illuminator along with approximately 100mm of wiring. Peel end of each wire off and crimp female bullet connectors provided (Item 8).
