6. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The boiler must be connected to 230V - 50Hz
single-phase + earth mains power, in com-
pliance with the following requirements
The system must be compliant with the safety
STANDARDS IN FORCE.
- Use a two-pole disconnect switch compliant
with IEC-EN standards (minimum contact ope-
ning 3 mm)
- Ensure correct connection L (Phase) - N (Neutral)
- Use cables with a minimum cross-section of
1.5 mm 2
- Refer to the wiring diagrams in this booklet for
any electrical work
- Connect the appliance to an effective earth
system.

7. CONTROL PANEL

7.1 Functional description

The main switch (11) powers the control panel
and connected equipment.
Switches (12) and (13) disconnect power to the
burner and system pump respectively.
The thermostat (21) is used to set the boiler
operating temperature.
The minimum thermostat stops the system
pump until the temperature inside the boiler rea-
ches 50°C.
For three-phase burners and/or of system
pumps or if current draw exceeds 3 A, contac-
tors should be installed between the boiler panel
and the load.
