6 Mounting

The device has been designed for various types of mounting:
•

Installation in a 19" rack

•

Mounting in the field via H-rail

•

Mounting in the field via mounting plate

All mounting components are included.
6.1 Installation in a 19" rack
Detach the cover from the IO-Link D/A interface by fully removing all four screws at the corners of the
device. The device is then mounted in the 19" rack using these same four screws.
Caution
The device includes sensitive electronic components which may be destroyed by electrostatic discharge.
Touch a grounded object before removing the screws. Avoid direct contact with the PCB.
6.2 Mounting in the field via H-rail
Attach the H-rail socket to the back of the device using the washers and screws included.
Attention
Use only the mounting materials included. Longer screws may destroy the electronics!
6.3 Mounting in the field via mounting plate
Attach the mounting plate to the back of the device using the included screws and washers.

Use only the mounting materials included. Longer screws may destroy the electronics!
