Always be aware that the owner or the user is responsible for the accidents or risks taken befalling
third parties or their property.

Ensure that the clamping devices are correctly tightened.

Check the machine's conditions before use, thus avoiding accidents or damage to the machine.

Keep the fuel in purpose built containers.

Fill the tank only outdoors before starting the engine. Do not smoke during the procedure or any
other fuel manipulation procedure.
c.
Never remove the tank lid or fill the tank when the engine is running or while it is still hot.
d.
Do not start the engine if there is any spilt fuel: remove the motorised hoe from the contaminated
area and do not start any fires until the fuel has completely evaporated and the vapours have vanished.
e.
Close the tank and the container properly by tightening the lids.
f.
After use, always place the switch on the OFF position and close the fuel tap.

Start the engine with caution, respecting the instructions for its use and keep your feet away from
the instruments.

Always pull the starter chord slowly until you feel resistance, in order to start the machine. Then pull
the chord quickly, avoiding kickbacks and preventing injury on your arm or hand.

Do not start the engine in an enclosed location where the gases from the exhaust containing carbon
monoxide (CO) can accumulate, which can cause fainting or even death. Make sure there is always adequate
ventilation.

Turn the engine off in the following occasions:
a.
The machine is left unsupervised.
b.
Before filling the fuel tank.
56.
Stop the engine and remove the sparkplug pipe in the following occasions:
a.
Before any rotation tools procedures.
b.
Before any cleaning, checking or repair procedures.
c.
After collision with a foreign object. You must check the machine afterwards. If necessary contact
After Sales Services.
d.
If the machine starts to vibrate in an unusual way. Search for the cause of the vibration and, if
necessary, have it repaired by the After Sales Services.
57.
Move prudently on sloping terrain and work transversally, never up or down. You must not have
anyone in a 20m radius of the machine, except yourself. Change directions very carefully.
