14 Safety Instructions
Pay particular attention to the following:
Warning: This sign is a reminder of the precautions to be taken during certain procedures. It
signals a significant danger of serious injury or death, should you not follow the instructions.
The machine was designed to guarantee safe and reliable service when used according to instructions.
Before using the machine, please read and fully understand the contents of this manual, in order to avoid
exposure to injury or cause damage to the equipment.

Get acquainted with the workings and controls of the machine before using it. Know how to turn off
the tools and the engine quickly and have correct knowledge of all the controls.

Use the machine for its intended purpose, i.e., cultivation. Any other use can become dangerous or
damage the machine.

The machine was designed according to European safety norms in force. For your safety, modifying
the machine's characteristics is not recommended.
42.
Always be alert. Use common sense and do not operate the machine when you are tired.
43.
Always wear clothing suitable for the work to be undertaken. Do not wear jewellery or loose clothes,
because they may be pulled or dragged by moving parts. Use tight fitting clothes, protective anti-slip shoes
which fully cover the foot. Use hardwearing gloves, thus reducing transmission of vibrations to the hands.
44.
Never allow children or people who are not acquainted with these instructions to use the motorised
hoe. National regulations may limit the age of the user.
45.
Do not use the machine:
a.
When people, especially children, or animals are in the vicinity.
b.
After having taken medication or substances which may decrease your reflex ability and vigilance.
c.
Without the rotation tools central protection or the right and left protection hoods of the moss
destruction equipment (optional).
46.
It is up to the user to ensure his/her safety, in particular on sloping, uneven, slippery or moving
surfaces.
47.
When working on slopes, keep the fuel tank half empty in order to reduce fuel spillage. Always take
care when changing direction on a slope. Do not use the motorised hoe on a slope of over 10° (17%).
