4.2.7. Retrieving configuration from telephone exchange
If you wish to modify the configuration saved in your exchange, you first have to retrieve it. Click on 'Get. The file name is changed to 'Getting'.
EN
As is the case with sending, the program first tests the communication with the telephone exchange. If communication is succesful, the message 'PABX
found' is displayed together with the software version. If a new software version is available or required, EasySetup informs you of this (see 5.9).
Subsequently, the settings are retrieved from the exchange. The yellow smiley and the green question mark are again displayed. If retrieving the settings is
finished succesfully, the green question mark disappears and only the yellow smiley is displayed.
If the serial cable or power supply is not connected or if there is some other problem with the serial communication, the error report as described above is sent.
4.3. General settings
Click on the sheet 'General' for the general settings.
4.3.1. Start-up data
The telephone exchange is provided with day and night setting. This can be switched on and off. You can also select the daytime overflow function.
