Apparatuses
Apparatuses with pulse dialing (IDK) or tone dialing (TDK) can be connected to the telephone exchange. The telephone exchange automatically selects the
dialing method. The apparatuses with which you wish to make external calls have to have tone dialing service. If this is not the case, you can make internal
calls, but you cannot select telephone numbers via the external line of the telephone network. In case of apparatuses with number memory or memory
buttons, you have to save number 0 of the external line for making an external call. The number of external line 0 has to be followed by a pause of 2s. To
connections 1 up to and incl. 8, all telecommunication apparatuses such as normal or wireless telephone apparatuses, answering machines, fax machines,
number dialers, modems... can be connected.
The telephone exchange supports sending names and telephone numbers. The CLIP standard (FSK) that is used most frequently in Europe (e.g. Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, NOT in the Netherlands) is also used for this application. When using apparatuses that do not conform to this standard, a
name is displayed wrongly or not at all in case of an incoming call. Your network supplier has to pass on the CNIP information according to this standard.
