User name and password
A login password can be set for access to the web
interface.
By default, the built-in web interface of the adapt-
er is not protected by a password. We recommend
assigning a password when the installation of the
devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 is complete to pro-
tect it against tampering by third parties.
Enter your information in the User Name and User
Password fields. Now the web interface is protect-
ed against unauthorised access with your custom
password!
Confirm your settings with Apply.

4.5.2Factory defaults

In the
devolo WiFi 5 Repeater 1200 can be returned to its
original factory condition using the option Restore
all settings to factory defaults.
Doing so causes you to lose your personal
Wi-Fi and repeater settings. The most
recently

4.5.3 Firmware update

includes the software for operating the device. If

net as a file download, for example to modify exist-
