To avoid shock hazard, do not connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands.
Do not use the chair barefoot.
9. MAINTENANCE
The chair has been designed and constructed so as to reduce as much as possible the necessary maintenance and en-
sure proper functioning over the years without any problems. During any intervention on the chair, it is recommended
to follow the instructions given in this section.
WARNING! All interventions on the chair must be carried out by competent and trained personnel on
the methods to operate correctly and safety. Do not make any action on the chair moving, and always
check that the plug connecting to power supply is disconnected; bring the power plug next to you du-
ring the execution of the intervention on the chair so you can check at any time the actual separation.
9.1. General Checks
Constantly check the general condition of the chair: the integrity of the protections, the electrical equipment and the
condition of the pads.
WARNING! Do not use the chair if any component is found to be not perfectly intact or in service. In
this case, put the chair out of service by disconnecting the power plug immediately and contact an
Authorized Service Centre.
WARNING! Do not modify this chair without authorization of the manufacturer. If this chair is modi-
fied, appropriate inspection and testing must be conducted to ensure its continued safe use.
9.2. Extraordinary Maintenance
Any extraordinary maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel of the technical service Brusaferri & C. or
Service Centre authorized by the manufacturer.

For a correct and quickly resolution of the problem, it is necessary to communicate the model and the serial number
of the chair and the description of the defect, or what are the visible problems, and under what condition it occurs.
The broken chair, if under warranty, must be sent to the Service Centre together with the certificate of guarantee, tran-
sport charges must be paid by the purchaser.
WARNING! Any form of warranty expires if interventions are carried out on the chair by someone not
authorized by Brusaferri & C.
9.3. Authorized Personnel
Repairs and maintenance of the chair can be carried out exclusively by competent personnel, that is of Brusaferri & C.
or authorized by it. Information on the staff to contact for possible interventions can be obtained directly from Brusa-
ferri & C.
9.4. Cleaning
Each time you make a treatment, always cover the mattress with towels or disposable towels before the patient sit on
the chair (See §7.2. Use of the mattress).
Pay particular attention to the jeans that can stain the covering without any possibility of being removed.
