6. Mini Matic boiler design | 7. Fuel storage bin
The boiler features an LED push-button for safe device control. Its colour
corresponds to the colours on the status bar of the controller and indicates
current device status. The LED pushbutton is positioned in the centre of the
boiler control system housing:
Boiler start-up and shutdown
Make sure the fuel is available and the storage bin is closed before starting the
boiler. In the main menu, select "Start device" or use the push-button on the
boiler housing. The boiler will switch to start-up mode. To shutdown the boiler
for servicing or long term storage, select "Stop device" to shutdown the boiler.
Green always on - normal device operation. Do not carry out
any maintenance works on the device; fuel can be refilled.
Green blinking - stop push-button was pressed to shutdown the device.
Do not carry out any maintenance works on the device.
Orange blinking - fuel reserve, ash pan full or other alert. Read the
message on the screen and take the required actions.
Red always on - device is shutdown. All the required maintenance works
can now be carried out.
Red blinking - alarm.
Read the message on the controller's screen to determine the cause of alarm.
STB sensor is an electronic device with an electrical power supply and normally
closed contacts that open when the limit temperature (90°C) is reached.
The contacts will not close automatically even if the temperature decreases
to a normal level.

6.9 Boiler body
Mini Matic is a two-pass boiler with flue gas recirculation. Mini Matic heat
exchanger materials:
• inner shell assembly – P265GH (to PN EN 10028-7: 2016-09) – 5 mm
boiler steel for pressure vessels
• outer shell assembly – S235JR (PN EN 10025-2:2019-11) – 4 mm
standard structural carbon steel
• flue tube – seamless tube – 3.2 mm wall thickness
• boiler housing – DC01 - 0.8 mm powder coated steel sheet
• fuel storage bin – DX01- 1 mm galvanised carbon steel sheet
• fuel storage bin insulation – DC01- 0.8 mm powder coated steel sheet
• boiler body insulation – mineral wool

7. Fuel storage bin

Mini Matic boiler is fitted with a modular mobile storage bin, attached to the
boiler, with casters for easy handling and access to Platinum Bio Matic burner
for servicing. The storage bin is made of galvanised steel sheet and components
with a protective coating.
CAUTION!
DISCONNECT THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, SCREW FEEDER
POWER SUPPLY AND FLEXIBLE TUBE BETWEEN THE
FUEL FEEDER AND THE BURNER BEFORE
REMOVING THE STORAGE BIN FOR SERVICING.
