Produktbeschreibung
Das „Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi" ist ein Medizinprodukt. Dieses Produkt ist nur für die professionelle zahnärztliche
Anwendung bestimmt und darf ausschließlich von Fachpersonal angewendet werden! Das „Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi"
ist vornehmlich zur sub- und supragingivalen Anwendung in handelsüblichen Pulverstrahlgeräten bestimmt. Bitte beachten
Sie vor der Verwendung des Prophylaxepulvers die Gebrauchsanweisung Ihres Pulverstrahlgerätes. Das „Prophylaxepulver
Perio Combi" ist frei von tierischen Inhaltsstoffen, Gluten, Lactose und Fructose. Das Produkt ist nicht kariogen.
Indikation
Dieses Produkt wird empfohlen zur:
• Entfernung von parodontalem Biofilm im Rahmen der parodontalen Erhaltungstherapie (Recalltherapie), mit einer geeig-
neten subgingivalen Düse, z.B. dem Perio Tip von Dürr Dental
• Reinigung von Implantatoberflächen zur Unterstützung der Mucositistherapie oder Periimplantitistherapie nach erfolgter
Initialtherapie
• schonende Plaqueentfernung im Sulkusbereich und an besonders empfindlichen Zahnoberflächen
• Entfernung von leichten Verfärbungen im supragingivalen Bereich
• Entfernung von Plaque auf kieferorthopädischen Apparaturen (Brackets)
Das Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi ist für Kinder und Erwachsene geeignet. Nicht verschlucken.
Kontraindikation
Patienten, die an chronischen Atemwegserkrankungen (z.B. Bronchitis oder Asthma) leiden, dürfen nicht mit einem Pulver-
Wasserstrahlgerät behandelt werden, da das im Aerosol befindliche Pulver zu Atemwegsschwierigkeiten führen kann.
Ebenso sollte die Anwendung auf nicht-intaktem Schmelz sowie hypomineralisiertem Schmelz und „White Spots" unter-
bleiben. Die Behandlung tiefer parodontaler Taschen kann zu einer Bakteriämie führen. Bitte bedenken Sie daher, notwen-
dige Einschränkungen oder ggf. geeignete Maßnahmen für die Behandlung von Risikopatienten (Endokarditis, Schwangere,
stillende Mütter, Infektionserkrankung, Immunschwächen (Neutropenie, Agranulozytose, Diabetes, Hämophilie), Patienten
unter Behandlung (Strahlentherapie, Chemotherapie, Antibiotikatherapie) zu treffen.
Warnhinweis
Nicht verschlucken. Kontakt mit den Augen vermeiden. Bei Kontakt mit den Augen mit reichlich Wasser ausspülen.

Bei der Arbeit mit dem „Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi" auf geeignete Schutzausrüstung achten. Patient und Behandler

Product description
"Prophy Powder Perio Combi" is a medical device. This product is only intended for professional dental applications and
must only be used by trained specialists. "Prophy Powder Perio Combi" is designed mainly for sub- and supragingival
application in commercial powder jet devices. Please note the operating instructions of the powder jet device before use of
the prophy powder. "Prophy Powder Perio Combi" is free of animal ingredients, gluten, lactose and fructose. This product
does not have a cariogenic effect.
Indication
This product is recommended for:
• Removal of periodontal biofilm in the scope of periodontal maintenance therapy (recall therapy), with a suitable subgin-
gival nozzle, e.g. the Perio Tip from Dürr Dental
• Cleaning implant surfaces to support treatment of mucositis or peri-implantitis after completed initial therapy
• Gentle removal of plaque at the sulcus and particularly sensitive dental surfaces
• Removal of slight discolorations in supragingival regions
• Removal of plaque on orthodontic appliances (brackets)
Prophy Powder Perio Combi is suitable for children and adults. Do not swallow.
Contraindication
Patients suffering from chronic airway diseases (e.g. bronchitis or asthma) must not be treated with a powder-water jet
device since the powder present in the aerosol can lead to difficult breathing. Likewise, the product should not be used
on non-intact enamel, hypomineralised enamel and white spots. The treatment of deep periodontal pockets can lead to
bacteraemia. For this reason, please take into consideration that necessary restrictions or suitable measures must be
undertaken for the treatment of risk patients (endocarditis, pregnant and lactating women, infectious diseases, immuno-
deficiency (neutropenia, agranulocytosis, diabetes, haemophilia), patients on treatment (radiation therapy, chemotherapy,
antibiotic therapy)).
Warning
Do not swallow. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water.

Description du produit
La « poudre prophylactique Perio Combi » est un produit médical. Ce produit est uniquement destiné à un usage profes-
sionnel en médecine dentaire et doit être appliqué exclusivement par un personnel qualifié ! La « poudre prophylactique
Perio Combi » est avant tout destinée à une application sous-gingivale et supragingivale dans des appareils à jet de poudre
courants. Avant d'utiliser la poudre prophylactique, veillez à respecter la notice d'utilisation de votre appareil à jet de
poudre. La « poudre prophylactique Perio Combi » est exempte d'ingrédients d'origine animale, de gluten, de lactose et de
fructose. Le produit n'a pas d'effet cariogène.
Indication
Ce produit est recommandé pour :
• le retrait du biofilm parodontal dans le cadre d'un traitement parodontal de conservation (thérapie de soutien) avec une
buse sous-gingivale appropriée, par ex., la Pointe Perio de Dürr Dental.
• le nettoyage de surfaces d'implants pour aider dans le traitement d'une mucite ou d'une périimplantite après une
thérapie initiale réussie
• l'élimination en douceur de la plaque au niveau de la poche parodontale et sur les surfaces dentaires particulièrement
sensibles
• l'élimination de légères décolorations dans la zone supra-gingivale
• l'élimination de la plaque dentaire sur les appareillages d'orthodontie (appareils dentaires)
La « poudre prophylactique Perio Combi » convient aux enfants et aux adultes. Ne pas avaler.
Contre-indications
Les patients souffrant de maladies chroniques affectant les voies respiratoires (par ex., bronchite ou asthme) ne doivent
pas être traités avec un appareil à jet de poudre et d'eau, car la poudre se trouvant dans l'aérosol peut provoquer des diffi-
cultés respiratoires. Éviter aussi toute application sur un émail dentaire abîmé ou sur un émail dentaire déminéralisé et sur
les « taches blanches ». Le traitement des poches parodontales profondes peut entraîner une bactériémie. C'est pourquoi,
avant de traiter des patients à risques (patients souffrant d'endocardite, femmes enceintes ou en période d'allaitement,
maladies contagieuses, immunodéficiences : neutropénie, agranulocytose, diabète, hémophilie, patients sous traitement :
patients sous radiothérapie, chimiothérapie, patients sous antibiotiques), il importe de prendre les mesures qui s'imposent.
Avertissement
Ne pas avaler. Éviter tout contact avec les yeux. En cas de contact avec les yeux, rincer abondamment à l'eau.
Mesures de précaution
Porter un équipement de protection adéquat lors de l'utilisation de la « poudre prophylactique Perio Combi ». Le patient et
le dentiste doivent porter une protection oculaire adéquate, par ex., des lunettes de protection. Le dentiste doit porter un

von Mund-Nasen-Schutz und geeigneten Schutzhandschuhen tragen. Verwenden Sie eine geeignete Spraynebelabsaug-
kanüle z.B. die Dürr Dental Prophylaxe Kanüle. Das „Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi" darf nur von entsprechend geschultem
zahnmedizinischen Fachpersonal eingesetzt werden. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass der Strahl des Pulverstrahlgeräts nicht
direkt auf festsitzenden Zahnersatz und Füllungen ausgerichtet wird, da so Restaurationen beschädigt werden können.
Richten Sie die Strahldüse während der Behandlung nicht direkt auf das Zahnfleisch. Die direkte Bestrahlung des Weich-
gewebes kann zu einer Schädigung des Zahnfleisches führen. Außerdem besteht die Gefahr einer Emphysem-Bildung im
Gewebe und/oder einer Embolie durch in den Blutkreislauf eingebrachte Luft. Zum Schutz empfindlicher Hautpartien tragen
Sie bitte vor Behandlungsbeginn Vaseline auf die Lippen des Patienten auf. Reinigen Sie nach Abschluss der Behandlung
das Gesicht des Patienten mit einem feuchten Einmaltuch, z.B. mit dem Lunos® Wellnesstuch. Weisen Sie Ihren Patienten
bitte darauf hin, dass Essen oder Trinken (Tee, Kaffee oder andere Lebensmittel) innerhalb der ersten zwei bis drei Stunden
nach der Behandlung zu einer erneuten Verfärbung der Zähne führen kann. Oberflächen der dentalen Einheit nach der
Anwendung des Prophylaxepulvers mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.
Arbeitsvorbereitung
Bitte entfernen Sie Pulverreste aus der Pulverkammer des Pulverstrahlgerätes vor der erneuten Befüllung mit „Prophylaxe-
pulver Perio Combi". Schütteln Sie die verschlossene Flasche, bevor Sie das „Prophylaxepulver Perio Combi" entnehmen.
Bitte entfernen Sie vor Entnahme des Pulvers das Originalitätssiegel. Entfernen Sie zu diesem Zweck den Deckel der
Flasche vollständig, ziehen Sie das Siegel ab und schrauben Sie anschließend den Deckel der Flasche wieder vollständig
auf. Bitte achten Sie vor Befüllen der Pulverkammer dringend darauf, dass diese vollständig trocken ist. Es darf keine
Restfeuchtigkeit, z.B. von Aufbereitungsmaßnahmen, in der Kammer vorhanden sein. Bitte achten Sie dringend darauf,
dass beim Einfüllen des Pulvers in die Pulverkammer die maximale Füllhöhe der Pulverkammer nicht überschritten wird.
Zur minimalen Staubentwicklung beim Befüllen der Kammer wird empfohlen, den „Kipphebel" zu benutzen und die Flasche
leicht zu drücken.
Lagerung und Haltbarkeit
Bitte achten Sie darauf, die Flaschen sofort nach Entnahme des Pulvers wieder sorgfältig zu verschließen, damit das
Prophylaxepulver keine Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt. In geschlossenen, belüftbaren Räumen, unter Vermeidung von Feuchtigkeit
und intensivem Licht zwischen 0°C und 25 °C bei 10% bis 75% relativer Luftfeuchte lagern. Vor direkter Sonneneinstrah-
lung schützen. Bei Einhaltung der Lagerbedingungen beträgt die Haltbarkeit im geschlossenen Gebinde 36 Monate, nach
Anbruch 12 Monate.

of mouth and nose protection and suitable protective gloves. Use a suitable spray mist aspiration cannula, e.g. the Dürr
Dental Prophy Cannula. "Prophy Powder Perio Combi" may only be used by appropriately trained dental specialists. Please
make sure not to direct the jet of the powder jet device directly at fixed dental restorations and fillings as this may damage
the restorations. Do not direct the spray nozzle directly at the gingiva during the treatment. Direct exposure of the soft
tissue may damage the gingiva. Also there is a risk of emphysema arising in the tissue and/or of embolism from air being
introduced into blood circulation. To protect sensitive skin, please apply Vaseline to the patient's lips before commencing
the treatment. After completion of treatment, clean the patient's face with a moist disposable cloth, e.g. the Lunos® Prophy
Wellness Cloth. Please advise your patient that the ingestion of food or beverages (tea, coffee or other food items) within the
first two to three hours after completion of the treatment can cause renewed discoloration of the teeth. Clean the surfaces
of the dental unit with a moist cloth following the use of the prophy powder.
Preparation
Please remove all residual powder from the powder chamber of the powder jet device before refilling it with "Prophy Pow-
der Perio Combi". Shake the closed bottle before removing any "Prophy Powder Perio Combi". Remove the tamper-proof
seal before removing the powder. For this purpose, take the lid off the bottle, pull off the seal and then screw the lid back
on the bottle. It is essential that you make sure that the powder chamber is completely dry before filling it. There must be
no residual moisture in the chamber, e.g. from reprocessing measures. When filling the powder chamber with powder, you
need to make sure not to exceed the maximum filling level of the powder chamber.
To minimise the amount of dust generated when you fill the chamber, it is recommended that you use the rocker and
compress the bottle slightly.
Storage and shelf life
Please make sure that the bottles are carefully closed again immediately after removing the powder so that the prophy
powder does not absorb any moisture. Store in enclosed, well-ventilated rooms away from moisture and bright light
between 0°C and 25°C at 10% to 75% relative humidity. Keep out of direct sunlight. When the storage conditions are
observed, the shelf life is 36 months in the sealed container and 12 months after opening.
Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with the local official regulations.

tique Perio Combi » doit être appliquée exclusivement par un personnel qualifié en médecine dentaire. Veuillez noter que
le jet de l'appareil à jet de poudre ne doit pas être orienté directement sur une prothèse dentaire fixe ou des plombages,
car cela pourrait endommager les restaurations. N'orientez pas la buse de projection directement sur la gencive au cours
du traitement. La projection de jets directement sur les tissus mous peut endommager la gencive. Il existe également un
risque d'apparition d'un emphysème sur les tissus ou d'une embolie en cas d'injection d'air dans la circulation sanguine.
Pour protéger les surfaces de peau sensibles, appliquez de la vaseline sur les lèvres du patient avant le début du trai-
tement. Une fois le traitement terminé, nettoyez le visage du patient avec une lingette jetable, par ex., lingette Lunos®.
Avertissez votre patient que le fait de boire ou de manger (thé, café ou tout autre aliment) dans les deux à trois heures qui
suivent le traitement peut changer de nouveau la couleur des dents. Nettoyer la surface dentaire avec une lingette après
l'application de la poudre prophylactique.
Préparation du travail
Veuillez débarrasser le compartiment à poudre de l'appareil à jet de poudre des résidus de poudre avant de le remplir à
nouveau avec la « poudre prophylactique Perio Combi ». Agitez le flacon fermé avant d'enlever la « poudre prophylactique
Perio Combi ». Veuillez retirer l'opercule du flacon avant de sortir la poudre. Pour ce faire, retirez entièrement le bouchon
du flacon, ôtez l'opercule et revissez complètement le bouchon du flacon. Vérifiez que le compartiment à poudre est par-
faitement sec avant de le remplir. Il ne doit rester dans le compartiment aucune humidité résiduelle, par ex., restant d'une
précédente préparation de traitement. Veillez impérativement à ne pas dépasser la hauteur maximale de remplissage du
compartiment à poudre lorsque vous y mettez la poudre.
Pour limiter la formation de poussière en remplissant le compartiment, il est recommandé d'utiliser le « culbuteur » et de
ne serrer que légèrement le flacon.
Stockage et durée de conservation
Veillez vous assurer d'avoir soigneusement refermé le flacon directement après avoir prélevé la poudre afin que la poudre
prophylactique n'absorbe pas l'humidité. Stocker dans des endroits fermés et bien ventilés, en évitant l'humidité et la
lumière intense, entre 0 °C et 25 °C, à 10 % à 75 % d'humidité relative. Protéger des rayons directs du soleil. Si les
conditions de stockage sont respectées, la durée de conservation dans l'emballage fermé s'élève à 36 mois et à 12 mois
après ouverture.

Élimination conformément aux prescriptions locales réglementaires.
