13.9 Workstation

You will require the following in order to start up the MPS

The assembled and adjusted MPS

Compressed air supply: 600 kPa (6 bar)

A power supply that is
either
connected with a Sub-D HD cable with two plug connectors that is connected via a C-interface with a
PLC or via a Sub-D HD Connect with a Tec2Screen
or
a 15-pin Sub-D HD cable with a plug and open ends for optional wiring with a 24 V voltage source.

14 Maintenance and care

The MPS modules are largely maintenance-free. The following components should be cleaned at regular
intervals with a soft, lint-free cloth or brush:

The lenses of the optical sensors, the fiber optics and the reflectors

The active surface of the proximity sensor

The entire station

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
