SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. In Figure 11 it shows the top of the bumper and
the purpose of the holes that are there.
a. Winch holes
b. Auxillary light holes if winch not mounted on
top.
c. Winch cable routing holes for wires and the
Plastic conduit to protect the wires.
If installing the winch behind the skid plate
relocation of the fairlead roller is necessary. This
is providing that you have installed a winch mount
in behind the skid plate at this time. Remove the
upper grill. Carefully hold the winch fairlead roller
up to the winch mount. See Figure 12.
CAUTION
The bottom roller of your fairlead must be
above the winch mount plate so the winch
rope does not rub. See Figure 12 and 13.
Locate it till it almost touches the bottom of the
bumper and ensuring that you are centered, mark
the holes to be drilled. Drill a small pilot hole
before drilling out to a 25/64 hole. See Figure 13.
NOTE: There are optional light holes in the
top of the bumper if winch is not located on
the top of the bumper.
