i)
ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with a RATED input current of more than 16 A per phase require a single interruption for 250/300 cycles at any angle and for all
phases simultaneously (if applicable). ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with a buffer mode after testing must return to the mains-powered operation. ME-DEVICES
and ME-SYSTEMS with a RATED input current less than or equal to 16 A require interruption on all phases.
j)
ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS without transitional protective devices in the primary mains circuit should be tested only with ± 2 kV between the power supply
wires and the earth and with ± 1 kV between individual power supply devices.
Does not apply to ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with PROTECTION CLASS II.
It is necessary to use a direct connection.
m)
Root-mean-square value before modulation is applied.
n)
The ISM bands (frequency ranges used for industrial, scientific and medical purposes) between 0.15 MHz and 80 MHz are 6.765 MHz - 6.795 MHz; 13.553 MHz -
13.567 MHz; 26.957 MHz - 27.283 MHz; and 40.66 MHz - 40.70 MHz. The amateur radio bands between 0.15 MHz and 80 MHz are 1.8 MHz - 2.0 MHz, 3.5 MHz -
4.0 MHz, 5.3 MHz - 5.4 MHz, 7 MHz - 7.3 MHz, 10.1 MHz - 10.15 MHz, 14 MHz - 14.2 MHz, 18.07 MHz - 18.17 MHz, 21.0 MHz - 21.4 MHz, 24.89 MHz - 24.99 MHz,
28.0 MHz - 29.7 MHz and 50 MHz - 54.0 MHz.
o)
Applicable for ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with RATED input current less than or equal to 16 A per phase, and for ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with RATED
input current more than 16 A per phase.
p)
Applicable for ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS with RATED input current less than or equal to 16 A per phase.
q)
For ME-DEVICES equipped with a mains input transformer, the use of such a test at certain phase angles can lead to the activation and deactivation of the
overcurrent protection device. This can happen due to magnetic saturation of the transformer core after a voltage dip. If this happens, it is necessary to ensure
the BASIC SAFETY of the ME-DEVICE or ME-SYSTEM during and after the test.
r)
For ME-DEVICES and ME-SYSTEMS, which have a large number of possible mains voltage settings or are equipped with an automatic mains voltage selection
system, tests should be carried out with the mains voltage values corresponding to the minimum and maximum RATED VALUE of the mains input voltage,
which is less than 25% of the maximum mains input voltage within the RATED VALUE range, the test must be carried out with the mains input voltage within
this range. For corresponding calculation examples see Table 1 Note c).
