B .- Primary air. Regulation
The provision of air for the combustion process is performed by means of the
primary air valve. (See fig. 13)
To favour lighting-up the fireplace and to avoid the formation of tar, we recommend
opening the primary air valve completely to allow the inflow of abundant air for the
combustion process.
This situation must be maintained
at the beginning of each lighting-up
process in order to heat the fireplace
and chimney, which will avoid the
formation of condensation and creosote.
It is essential to provide an
abundant load of fuel when lighting. The
following loads will depend on the heat
requirement desired.
Once the fireplace is hot, you may
regulate the provision of air for the
combustion process.
COMMENT:
Due to its air-tightness and
circulation of the Built-in Fireplace H-03
during
normal
recommend opening the door of the
fireplace slowly when you have to add
more fuel.

Secondary
cleaning
The purpose of secondary air for
the combustion process is to provide
additional air to burn any un-burnt
matter after the primary combustion
process due to a lack of oxygen.
This extends the combustion process and improve the performance of the device.
The provision of secondary air is through the top opening in the BUILT-IN
FIREPLACE H-03 and is aimed at the glass pane on the door, creating a layer of air that
will prevent soot from adhering to the said pane. (Self-cleaning) (See Fig.-12)
D.- Direct draw valve. (Only in H-03 DB/R models)
This valve serves to regulate draw in the
chimney, reducing or increasing the flow of
gases from the fireplace and, consequently, it
can also be used for combustion control. We
recommend it for use in chimneys with excessive
draw.
Push the rod in to open the valve. As you
pull the rod out, the draw will gradually close.
To open the door, the draw valve should
be fully open.
