Fitting
Loosen the shoulder straps slightly and put the pack on.
Fasten the hip belt. The hip belt is positioned correctly if it
encloses the pelvis bone, following its upper contour (+/-
3cm, see Fig.1).). It should not be positioned across the
stomach. Tighten the shoulder straps until there is little or no
slack in the system but also no excessive pressure.

Adjusting the hip belt width
The BC Urban features a semi-elastic hip belt and an
integrated belt pocket (Fig. 1), designed to store the
surplus belt length. To do this, open the zippered right
side hip belt pocket and pull on the loose end of the hip
belt. Position the hip belt correctly, close it and tighten
by pulling the strap to the front. Stow the surplus belt
strap flat into the hip belt pocket and close the zipper.
The hip's circumference is now fixed, but due to its
semi-elastic execution, it will still allow for some flexibili-
ty for closing and a snug comfortable fit.
Check if the back length is adjusted correctly by sitting on a
bicycle (or on a chair, mimicking the position on a bicycle).
The fit is correct if the colored markings on the shoulder
straps intersect with your collarbone (Fig. 2). If this is not the
case, readjust the torso (back) length accordingly.

Automatic shoulder width adjustment
Due to its flexible connection, the shoulder straps are free to
move, automatically adjusting the carrying system to the indivi-
dual shoulder width and shape (Fig. 2). By tightening the
straps the position is locked.
