The advantages of Ergon's BC Urban backpack
The Ergon development team has taken a multidisciplinary approach when designing this unique carrying system, where the
straps automatically adjust to the user's anatomical requirements. The shoulder straps as well as the hip belt align with the riders
natural hip and shoulder features ... no need for further or separate adjustments. Through its 4-way torso length adjustment the
individual fit is lifted to completely new levels of comfort.
Another important innovation is the removable hip belt. When in use, it transfers the loads onto the hip, adding stability. The
contoured and formable alloy rails within the back plate easily adapt to the user's individual back shape ergonomics. Its carrying
comfort is so good, it was awarded the seal of quality called "Initiative Healthy Back" by the Forum Healthy Back and the German
Federal Association for German Back Schools.
The pack's cover fabric is made of recycled PET bottles (bluesign® certified) and is water resistant. The main compartment is
easily accessible trough the full-width roll-down closure.
Improved Ventilation
The contact padding utilizes a special surface
webbing, which improves ventilation and
airflow when riding compared to traditional
backpack designs. These pads are arranged to
create designated ventilation channels, which
help keeping your back drier.
