Adjusting the Torso Back Length
The backpack's torso length is best adjusted according to the measured torso length of the wearer. To do this, measure the
shortest distance from the palpable upper edge of the pelvis bone to the point where the shoulder straps sit highest on your
shoulders. Find the value in the table below and adjust the backpack accordingly (see pages 14 & 15).

All details are guidelines only and apply to people with average proportions. Variations are possible and can lead to a
different result - as can personal preferences when wearing a backpack.
Removable Hip Belt
For ergonomic reasons the BC Urban comes equipped with a fill-featured,
padded hip belt that can be removed if desired. To do this, loosen the hip pad
by pulling it down and loosen the two Velcro flaps left and right on the outside
of the hip belt. Then pull to release the two push buttons and remove the hip
belt. To finish, fold the Velcro flaps to the inside and bring the hip pad back to its
original position. To reattach the hip belt, repeat in reverse order.
