4.7 Safety Flag
For use in Carrier Bicycle, Jogger, and Trailer Modes.
4.8 Safety Tether
For use in Stroller and Jogger Modes. Safety Tether attaches to ChildPod®'s Hitch
Beam.
4.8.1 Install Safety Tether
1. Wrap Safety Tether around Hitch Beam.
2. Feed Safety Tether through one of its looped ends. Both ends of Safety Tether
are looped. Pull tight.
4.8.2 Safety Tether Use
1. Thread your wrist into the open loop of Safety Tether.
2. When not in use, store Safety Tether in one of the ChildPod®'s Storage Pockets
Failure to use Safety Tether in Stroller or Jogger Mode may result
in loss of control in the event that you lose your grip on ChildPod®.
Always use Safety Tether in Stroller and Jogger Modes.
Do not use Safety Tether in Carrier Bicycle and Trailer Modes. Store
Safety Tether in ChildPod® Storage Pockets when not in use; Safety
Tether may get caught in ChildPod® Rear Wheels, or interfere with
Pod Clamp function in Carrier Bicycle Mode.
