device must only be used for the purpose described in this instruction manual.

- This device must only be used for the purposes described in this instruction
manual.
- This device must only be used in an ambient temperature range of between 10
and 40°C.
- This device must always be kept in a clean, dry area.
- Do not expose this thermometer to electric shocks.
- Do not expose this thermometer to extreme temperature conditions of > 50°C
or < - 20°C.
- Do not use this device in relative humidity higher than 85%.
- Do not expose the thermometer to sunlight or to water.
- Do not use this device outside.
- Never drop the device, Shock may damage this device.

- Should a problem occur with your device, please contact your retailer. Do not
attempt to repair this device yourself.
- Please keep the thermometer off the children's touch. Prevent the product from
children playing, swallowing and eating.
- The MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT needs special precautions regarding EMC
and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC information
provided in the ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS.
- Generally, Portable and mobile RF communications equipment don't affect
MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, but it can't be used in the strong electroma-
gnetic interference environment.
- The measuring result of this product is only for your reference. If you have any
doubt, please contact your doctor.
- This appliance must not encourage self-medication or changing your treatment.
- Discontinue use of the device in case of anomalies or malfunction.
- Measures may be altered when used near a TV, a microwave oven, a mobile
phone or any other device with an electric field.
Important safeguards
For your safety, ONLY use the charger supplied.
Do not dismantle the device or the rechargeable base station.
The manufacturer reserves the right to alter the specifications of the product without prior

Warning
- To avoid electrical discharge: do not use around water, for example, in a bathroom.
- Make sure your hands are dry when handling the device or the electrical supply cord.
- Do not submerge the AC adaptor or the device in a liquid.
- Unplug the device immediately if it has fallen into water before attempting to
retrieve it.
- Do not use the device if any of its components are damaged (in particular the
electrical supply lead or the plug), if it is submerged in water or if it has fallen.
- Return your device immediately to the after-sales service for checking and repair.
- The device must not be used where flammable gas, oxygen or aerosol products
are stored or used.
- Always ensure that air can pass through the air vents. Do not place the device on
a soft surface that may obstruct the apertures.
- In the case of malfunction, stop using the product and return it to the after-sales
service for checking and repair.
- The device must not be left unsupervised while plugged in.
