ASSEMbLY
WARNING: Laceration Hazard. Before
attempting any of the following operations,
make sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged and that the saw blade has
stopped. Used saw blades can be hot.
FIttING tHe sAW bLAde (FIGuRe A)
- Hold the saw blade (6) as shown, with
teeth facing forward.
- Push the locking lever (3) away from the
shoe (4).

• When using an extension cord, be sure
to use one heavy enough to carry
the current your product will draw. An
undersized cord will cause a drop in line
voltage resulting in loss of power and
overheating. The table shows the correct
size to use depending on cord length and
nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use
the next heavier gauge. The smaller the
gauge number, the heavier the cord.

- Insert the shank of the saw blade into the
blade holder (7) as far as it will go.
