Function test before the first flight
Upper figure:
• Push the control lever for the throttle/pitch function to the bottom position and switch on the transmitter.
• Connect the flight battery to the quadrocopter and do not move the model until you can hear the activation sequence. For
the activation sound sequence, the motors initially emit three sounds at increasing height, then two, three or four
individual sounds (depending on number of cells of the LiPo battery) at the same height and then one more single sound.
• Now your quadrocopter is ready to start.
• Push the control lever for the throttle/pitch function slightly forward until the motors start up and use the figure to check
the individual propellers for correct rotating direction. If a motor rotates in the wrong direction, two of the three motor
connection cables must be swapped.
Depending on remote control mode used, the actually required level movement may deviate from the ones
indicated in the instructions.

Upper sketch:
Move the control lever of the elevator/nod function slightly forward and check if the quadrocopter tips forward slightly. If the
quadrocopter reacts precisely reversed, the reverse function of the nod control must be switched at the transmitter.
Upper sketch:
Moving the control lever for the rudder/tail function to the right must lead to the quadrocopter turning clockwise when
viewed from the top. If the quadrocopter reacts precisely reversed, the reverse function for the tail control must be switched
at the transmitter.

Upper figure:
Move the control lever of the aileron/roll function slightly forward and check if the quadrocopter tops to the right slightly. If
the quadrocopter reacts precisely reversed, the reverse function for the roll control must be switched at the transmitter.
Lower figure:
After the correct movement direction of the quadrocopter to the control commands is inspected/corrected, you may move
the throttle/pitch function control lever forward until the quadrocopters hovers at about 30 cm height. If the model swings
or rocks, increase gyro sensitivity and thus flight stability. For the precise procedure, see page P.12.
