Page P.9
Upper figure:
Insert the four carrier pins of the GYRO carrier plates into the rubber buffers of the cover plate. Always observe the
quadrocopter's flight direction. After correct assembly, the arrow on the top of the GU-344 GYRO points forward in parallel
to the flight direction (imagined centre line between boom arm 1 and 4).
Lower figure:
The figure shows assembly of the GU-344 GYRO and receiver when the receiver has servo connections that point upwards.
Only this provides the cover hood of the central frame with sufficient space.
Page P.10
Upper figure:
Pull the power supply lines of the four speed controllers from the central frame laterally according to the figure and connect
the two 4 in 1 voltage distributors.
Cut two strips from the included hook-and-loop tape's hook part and glue them to the bottom of the central frame.
Lower figure:
Glue the loop part of the hook-and-loop page onto the flight battery and secure the installed flight battery with the included
narrow hook-and-loop strips. The hook-and-loop strip is pulled through the two opening slots in the floor plate.
Important!
When using large and heavy rechargeable batteries, we recommend using wide hook-and-loop binders instead of
the narrow hook-and-loop strip to warrant sufficient attachment of the battery.
Page P.11
Upper figure:
Attach the propeller tappet on the motor shafts. The grub screws of the propeller tappets must interlock with the prepared
groove of the motor shaft. Use low-strength threadlocker varnish to fasten the grub screws.
Important!
When installing the propellers, observe that propellers at motors 2 and 4 turn clockwise (label 10B) and the
propellers at motors 1 and 3 turn counter-clockwise (label 10A).
Then attach the included yellow sticker to the boom arms 1 and 4 that point forwards in flight direction to get a visual display
about the current alignment of the quadrocopter when flying.
Lower figure:
The propeller alignment is not perfectly horizontal! The slight slant of the propellers of 6° (see figure) is intended and
improves the flight characteristics of the quadrocopter.
The cover hood of the central frame is put onto the boom arms from the top for completion. The pointy part should
point forwards in flight direction.
