Adjusting the blade stroke
Important!
An excessive
damage to the blade.
Warning!
Never put your hand near the sharp
side of the blade otherwise you may
cut yourself badly!
Warning!
Always separate the machine from
the compressed air network when
adjusting the stroke!
Important!
Never switch the machine on without
the blade protector in place or with a
loose blade protector. This would
destroy the blade and create a
potential risk of injury from broken
blade parts.
Before using the machine, check the stroke and
adjust it if necessary:
•
Remove the finger guard (fig. 13).
•
Let the machine run without the finger guard (6
bars) and check the stroke. The machine is
correctly adjusted when the stroke is 5-6 mm (fig.
2).

If the stroke does not correspond to the specified
values it must be reset:
•
Isolate the machine from the compressed air
network and pull the compressed air hose away
from the machine.
•
Unscrew the silencer.

On the back of the silencer, you will fine a bore
with a screw inserted inside. The stroke can be
regulated by adjusting the screw by means of a
hexagonal spanner 2.5 mm (fig. 3).

Turning the spanner clockwise = smaller stroke.
Turning the spanner anti-clockwise = larger stroke.
