1) Unscrew the screws for the lamp compartment
cover (3). Remove the cover. The lamp support is in
the compartment (fig. 3).
2) Insert the halogen lamp into the support and push
on the lamp connection (fig. 4). Pay attention that
the lamp is centred in the support.
3) Reposition the cover and screw it tightly. Never
operate the unit without cover. Looking directly into
the lit halogen lamp may cause eye damage due to
the high brightness and the UV radiation.
5 Mounting
The unit can be placed on a firm, even, heat-resistant
surface. However, it can also be suspended from a
crossbar via its mounting bracket (1). For adjusting the
unit, release the two setscrews (2) at the mounting
bracket. Adjust the desired inclination of the unit and
tighten the screws again.
Important!
1. To prevent heat accumulation within the unit, the
mounting location must be selected in such a way
that a sufficient air circulation will be ensured
during operation. The unit must have a minimum
distance of 25 cm to adjoining surfaces and the air
vents at the housing must not be covered in any
case.
2. Pay in any case attention to a sufficient distance to
easily flammable material or material sensitive to
heat.
3. If the unit is installed as a suspended load above
persons, it must additionally be secured (e. g. by a
safety rope at the mounting bracket). Fix the
safety rope in such a way that the maximum falling
distance of the unit is 20 cm.
6 Operation
Connect the plug of the mains cable (6) to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, the unit is switched on.
To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug.
For a more convenient operation it is recom-
mended to connect the unit to a mains socket which
can be switched on and off via a light switch.
The operating mode for the reflector wheel and the
gobo wheel can separately be selected via two
switches.

6.1 Operating mode for the reflector wheel
To control the reflector wheel via the integrated micro-
phone, set the selector switch (4) to position "I". If the
music is reproduced with a clear rhythm in the bass
range at a sufficient volume, the rotation of the reflec-
tor wheel is synchronized to the beat of the music.
Then also changes of direction will occur.
direction independent of the music, set the selector
switch (4) to position "O".
6.2 Operating mode for the gobo wheel
To control the gobo wheel via the integrated micro-
phone, set the selector switch (5) to position "I". If the
music is reproduced with a clear rhythm in the bass
range at a sufficient volume, the change of the project-
ed gobos is synchronized to the beat of the music.
direction independent of the music so that the patterns
change permanently, set the selector switch (5) to
position "O".

7 Cleaning of the Optical System

The lens, the mirror on the reflector wheel, and the
colour filter discs on the gobo wheel should be cleaned
at regular intervals, depending on impurities caused
by dust, smoke, or other particles. Only then the light
can be radiated at maximum brightness. Prior to open-
ing the unit, disconnect the plug from the mains socket
and let the unit cool down for 15 minutes.
cial detergent for glass. Then carefully wipe the parts
dry.
