Cleaning
If necessary, clean the accessories be-
fore use with lukewarm water and dry
them using a lint-free cloth. Store the
accessories in a clean place.
When cleaning, ensure that all residues
are removed and dry all parts carefully.
Never use any substances that may be
poisonous when in contact with the skin
or mucous membranes, or when swal-
lowed or inhaled.
Accessories (with the exception of the
hose) can be sterilised using specific
products such as the MILTON® method:
these must be rinsed until all traces of
disinfectant are removed, dried, and sto-
red in a dry and dust-free room. Acces-
sories (with the exception of the hose)
can be sterilised by placing them for at
least 40 minutes in boiling water (100°C)
or at least 20 minutes in an autoclave
(120°C). Do not bend or squash the ac-
cessories or place any weights on top of
them. Do not exceed the specified tem-
peratures, and use a sterile bag. Ensure
that the water level is sufficient to pre-
vent nebuliser parts coming into direct
contact with the bottom of the pan.
Note:
• In water or steam, the PVC component
lose their transparency. This will go a-
way by itself after a few days in a dry
atmosphere and does not affect the sui-
tability for use. All accessories can be
sterilised up to a maximum of 100 ti-
mes, after which they must be replaced.
Drying
• Place the individual components on a
dry, clean and absorbent surface and
allow to dry completely (for at least 4
hours).

Material resistance

• Do not expose the nebuliser and ac-
cessories to temperatures above
130°C. Just as all plastic components,
a nebuliser is generally a wearing
part. The nebuliser can be sterilised
up to a maximum of 100 times (see p.
26), after which it must be replaced.
• If the nebuliser is sterilised less than
100 times, it should be replaced at the
latest after one year. When choosing
a cleaning or disinfecting agent, note
the following:
Only use mild cleaning or disinfectant
agents in the quantities recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
• When used frequently (more than 3 x
daily), we recommend replacing the
nebuliser every 6 months to ensure
consistently effective nebulisation.
Storage
• Do not store the nebuliser in a damp
atmosphere (e.g. in the bathroom) or
transport it together with damp objects.
• Store and transport the nebuliser away
from direct sunlight.
Storage
• The device and all accessories, e.g.
the nebuliser and masks, can be sto-
red together in the storage bag pro-
vided.
