Putting the Dialler into Operation

2 Putting the Dialler into Operation
Safety information
Checking the package contents
The package contains:
1 x large key dialler
1 x 50 cm telephone line (RJ11−RJ11) 1 x operating manual
6 x spare protective foils
Notes on retaining the phone numbers stored
All the phone numbers programmed remain stored even if no batteries are in-
stalled as long as the large key dialler is connected to a telephone network. If the
connection to the telephone network is disconnected, the numbers stored are
lost.
The numbers programmed may also be lost if the telephone connection is sub-
ject to heavy loads due to the parallel connection of several units. Always install
a battery in this case.
Inserting a battery
Remove the protective cover (1) completely from the dialler. Open the battery
compartment (2) using a small crosstip screwdriver. Insert a battery of the type
CR2032. It is essential to pay attention to correct polarity. The + sign must face
you. Close the battery compartment cover. Slide the protective cover back on.
