MAINTENANCE
After the machine is turned off, it will automatically delay 5 minutes in order to dry the honey-
comb filter with air! Always remove the plug from the power outlet and allow the fan to stop
before starting cleaning work. To make optimal use of the machine to maintain and extend the
life of the machine, be sure to maintain with the instructions required by the following:
Clean the honeycomb filter Once every two weeks
Clean the water box Once every two weeks
Clean the filter cover Once every week
Clean the filter sponge Once every two weeks
• Clean the filter in a mild soapy solution and then left to dry before replacing the filter.
• If the environment is not good (for example, too much dust, poor water quality) the cleaning
frequency must be increased!
• Clean the external surfaces of the unit with a soft damp (not dripping wet) cloth.
WARNING:
• Do not immerse the unit in water.
• Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
• Do not allow the interior (particularly the circuit board) to get wet, as this could create a
hazard.
• Attention: The plastic of the water tank ages and may become leaky. The tank must be re-
placed after 3 to 5 year of use. After every change of tank content, completely remove residu-
al water from the equipment. To prevent germ formation, all residual water must be removed.
The tank must be emptied periodically. Individual parts must be cleaned and the filter mat
must also be replaced periodically.
• Keep the machine in the original box for storage until later use.
• In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a fire
hazard or electric shock. Contact your local JUMBO store.

sible manner. Electrical appliances which are not longer serviceable can be returned
to retailers for recycling. Do not include electrical appliances in domestic rubbish. As
required by EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment as well as
legislation enacting this into national law, electrical equipment which is no longer serviceable
must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.
