The appliance may only be set up on water and moisture-proof flooring materials (spilling slight
amounts of water is unavoidable when emptying the tank).
Insert the power plug into a standard AC power outlet. Make sure the plug fits tightly into the
outlet. The pilot light will light up.
ON/OFF button
Press the button ON/OFF
to start the fan
Note: The default fan speed is Medium, and fan mode is Normal when pressing the ON/OFF
once.
SPEED button
Press the Speed button
to set the desired fan speed (Low/ Medium/ High). Press the Speed
button again for the following fan speed sequence: MI -> HI -> Lo -> MI. The speed pilot lamp will
be on during fan operation.
MODE button
The default setting is Normal airflow. Press the Mode button
airflow in the following sequence: NORMAL -> NATURAL -> SLEEP -> NORMAL
VANE button
To increase the amount of air blown into the room, press the Vane button
more air into the room, and the Vane light will be illuminated. To stop the Vane mode, just press
the button again, the pilot light will go off. Moving the horizontal louvers either up or down will
change the airflow direction.
COOL button
Please note that the Cool lamp will flash if you press the Cool button

• Before operating the unit in Cool mode, make sure the drain valve for the water tank is
properly closed. Then add clean water into the water tank. While adding the water, keep an
eye on the water level indicator to make sure that you do not over or underfill the unit. Press
the Cool button after you have added the water and the unit should commence to blow cooler
air. The Cool light will be on at the same time. If you press the Cool button again, it will stop
working, and the Cool light will go off.
• If you find that the air is still not cool enough after Step (1), you can add crushed ice into
the water tank by opening the water tank cover. Be sure not to exceed the ice compartment
capacity otherwise damage to the unit or electric shock may occur.
• If you wish to use an ice pack instead of crushed ice, just place it directly into the tank by
opening the water tank cover. The ice packs will provide good cooling if you place them in
your freezer for 1 to 2 hours.

To freshen the air in your room, simply press the ANION button

SAVE button
Pressing the SAVE button
will switch off all the indicator lamps to save energy, but all the
other functions work normally. Pressing the button again will exit the Save mode.
TIMER button
Press the timer button
to select the desired timing period. The range is 1...9 hours. The pilot
light corresponding to the selected timing period will light up. The timing function can also be
carried out with the remote control unit by pressing the corresponding function button. The
remote control unit will work within a distance of 5 meters and an angle about 20 degrees.
