Close the software keyboard, then remove [Software Keyboard] in [Start] - [Settings] -
[Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Programs] by following the on-screen instructions.
Whenever [Locked File Detected] is displayed, select [Reboot].

Close MeiWDS, then remove [MeiWDS] in [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Programs]
by following the on-screen instructions.

Remove [WDSP COM Port (COMx)] and [WDSP Serial Virtual Port] in [Control Panel]
- [System] - [Device Manager] - [Ports (COM&LPT)] by following on-screen instruc-
tions, and then remove [Wdserial] in [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Programs] by fol-
lowing on-screen instructions.

Remove [WDSP COM Port (COMx)] in [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Hardware] by
following the on-screen instructions.
WindowsNT
Stop [Wdserial] in [Control Panel] - [Devices], then remove [Wdserial] in [Control Panel]
- [Add/Remove Programs] by following on-screen instructions.

Close Client Manager, then select [Wireless Client Manager] in [Control Panel] - [Add/
Remove Programs], then select [Remove], and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Remove [TCP/IP - > WLAN PC Card] and [WLAN PC Card] in [Control Panel] - [Net-
work] by following the on-screen instructions.
When Windows asks you to restart, select [No].

Remove [WLAN PC Card] in [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Hardware] by following
the on-screen instructions.

Remove [WLAN PC Card] in [Control Panel] - [Network] - [Adapters] by following the
on-screen instructions.
When Windows asks you to restart, select [No].

Add the check mark for [Show all files] in [Start] - [Programs] - [Windows Explorer] -
[View] - [Folder Options] - [View], then select [OK].

Delete "C:\Windows\Inf\Other\Wirelesswlwir48.inf" file and "c:\Windows\System\Wnwir48.cpl"
file.

Delete "C:\Winnt\System32\Wnwir48.cpl" file.

Delete "C:\Winnt\System32\Wnwir52.cpl" file.

Turn off the computer, then remove the Wireless LAN Card.
