First-time Operation

Install the serial port driver of the wireless display
CAUTION
Do not install the driver by using the procedure in "Addendum" of the wireless
display.
Windows 98

Select [Start] - [Run], input [L:\wlserial\win98\setup.exe] and select [OK].
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Confirm [WDSP COM Port(COMx)] is displayed under [Ports (COM & LPT)] in
[Control Panel] - [System] - [Device Manager].
Windows 2000

Select [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Hardware], then select
E
[Next].

Select [Add/Troubleshoot a device], then select [Next].

Select [Add a new device], then select [Next].

Select [No, I want to select the hardware from a list], then select [Next].

Select [Ports (COM & LPT)], then select [Next].

Select [Have Disk].

Input [L:\wlserial\win2000] and select [OK].

Select [WDSP COM Port], then select [Next].

Select [Next], then select [Finish].

Restart the computer.

Confirm [WDSP COM Port (COMx)] is displayed under [Ports (COM & LPT)] in
[Control Panel] - [System] - [Hardware] - [Device Manager].
Windows NT
NOTE
Before installing the serial port driver, be sure to confirm an unused COM port
number (COM1-COM9; i.e., a COM port number not displayed in [Control Panel]
- [Ports]).

Select [Start] - [Run], input [L:\wlserial\winnt\setup.exe] and select [OK].

Select an unused COM port number, then select [Next].

Select [Finish].
The computer will restart.

Confirm that the selected COM port number is displayed in [Control Panel] - [Ports].
