7.4 Emptying waste container (only RS)

Depending on the thickness of the stripped material, the
waste container should be emptied after every 2,000 to
6,000 cycles. The waste container must also be emptied
after each instance of transport or shipping.
► Pull out the waste container and empty it.
► Bring the waste container back into its position.

7.5 Cleaning wire-holding tongs

► Clean the wire-holding tongs with a brush.
Additional monthly maintenance:
► Oil the holding tongs at the rotation points (1) and at the
contact areas (2) of the rollers.

7.6 Servicing the stranded wire fixing unit

► Clean the insertion funnel (1) with a brush.
► If necessary, use a soft cloth and some spirit.
Additional monthly maintenance:
► Pull the stranded wire fixing unit forwards (Figure 7.3,
B).
► Check whether the rollers (2) are able to move freely.
If necessary, lubricate the rotation points of the rollers.
► Oil the rotation points (3) of the stranded wire fixing unit.
