Operation
The device has a built-in timer. It operates for one hour and pauses afterwards for three hours.
Then, the cycle starts again.
This function ensures that the watch is always wound up, but is not overly wound up or moved
unnecessarily.
Always switch off the device before inserting or removing a watch.
Do not move or shake the device when it is in use.
• Open the cover and pull out the watch holder.
• If you want to insert a smaller ladies' watch, remove the bigger fixture for men's watches
from the holder.
• Press the watch holder together, and attach your watch to it together with the strap.
• Insert the watch holder in the fixture within the device.
• Close the cover.
• Select the desired direction of rotation, with the rotary knob.
• Switch the device on with the On-Off switch (put the switch into position „I").
• To switch off, move the On-Off switch back to the position „O".
Some automatic watches can only be wound in one direction. Please find the appro-
priate information in your watch's manual.
For watches with a glass housing and a visible rotor, the rotation can also be deter-
mined when turning the rotor by movement of the watch. The direction, in which it is
more difficult to move the rotor, is the one used to wind the watch.
Handling
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never disconnect power plugs from the mains socket by the cable. Always pull out it out of the
mains socket holding it by the contact surfaces provided for this purpose.
• Unplug the power adapter if you are not going to use the device for a while.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.
• To ensure adequate ventilation, the watch winder and the power adapter must never be
covered. In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines,
tablecloths, curtains or similar items.

Care and Cleaning

Disconnect the watch winder from the mains before cleaning it (unplug the power
adapter from the mains socket).
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household was-
te. Dispose of a product at the end of a life cycle in accordance with the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
