Connecting the power adapter

Only the enclosed power adapter may be used for the mains connection.
Connect the power adapter only to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the power adapter corresponds with the
mains voltage of your power supply. Never attempt to operate the device with any
other voltage.
Make sure that the connecting cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges
when making the connection.
The mains socket to which the power unit is connected must be easily accessible,
so the device can be quickly isolated from the mains power supply in the event of a
fault.
• Connect the low voltage adapter of the power unit with the power socket (2) on the rear of
the product.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.
Operation
Always switch off the device before inserting or removing a watch (move the function
switch (1) into the position "O" or "OFF").
Disconnect the device from the mains supply if you are not going to use it for a while
(pull the power adapter from the mains socket).
Do not move or shake the device when it is in use.
• Open the glass doors (5) and pull out the watch holders (4).
• Squeeze the watch holders (4) together and attach your watches to it with the strap.
• Put the watch holders (4) back into their fixtures within the device.
• Specify the rotational direction by means of the rotary switch (A/B/C):
A
Clockwise rotation
B
No rotation
C
Anticlockwise rotation
Some automatic watches can only be wound in one direction. Please find the appro-
priate information in your watch's manual.
For watches with a glass housing and a visible rotor, the rotation can also be deter-
mined when turning the rotor by movement of the watch. The direction, in which it is
more difficult to move the rotor, is the one used to wind the watch.
• Close the glass doors (5) again.
• More watches can be stored in the drawer under the glass doors (5).
• Turn the interval switch (3) on the rear of the device to the desired position:
A
33 seconds of rotation / 12 minute pause
B
10 minutes of rotation / 90 minute pause
C
30 minutes of rotation / 3 hour pause
D
1 hour of rotation / 3 hour pause
• Turn on the watch winder with the function switch (1) (turn switch into "I" or "On" position).

Care and cleaning

Disconnect the watch winder from the mains before cleaning it (unplug the power
adapter from the mains socket).
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household was-
te. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.
In so doing you will fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of
the environment.
