Carefully insert the tip of the thermometer 2 to
3 cm into the anal aperture.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the «▼» symbol (upside-down triangle)
appears in the lower right of the display, the
battery is exhausted and needs replacing. For
the battery replacement please remove the
compartment lid of the thermometer. Replace
the exhausted battery by positioning the + at
the top. Make sure a battery of the same type
is on hand. Batteries can be purchased at any
electrical goods shops. For battery disposal
please refer to «safety instructions».
GUARANTEE
This device is covered by a lifetime guarantee
from the date of purchase. During this guaran-
tee period, at our discretion, Microlife will
repair or replace the defective product free of
charge. Opening or altering the device invalida-
tes the guarantee.
The following items are excluded from the
guarantee:
• Transport costs and risks of transport.
• Damage caused by incorrect application or
non-compliance with the instructions for use.
• Damage caused by leaking batteries.
• Damage caused by accident or misuse.
• Packaging/storage material and instructions
for use.
• Regular checks and maintenance (calibration).
• Accessories and wearing parts: Battery.

Im After (rektal)
Die Thermometerspitze wird vorsichtig 2 - 3 cm
weit in den After eingeführt.
Mindestmesszeit: ca. 10 Sekunden.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Sobald rechts in der LCD-Anzeige das Symbol
«▼» erscheint, ist die Batterie erschöpft und ein
Batteriewechsel ist fällig. Zuerst die Batterie-
Abdeckung (Kappe) abziehen. Neue Batterie mit
+ Zeichen nach oben einsetzen und Batterie-
Abdeckung wieder aufsetzen. Nur den gleichen
Batterietyp verwenden. Batterien erhalten Sie in
jedem Elektrofachgeschäft. Die Leere Batterie
bitte vorschriftsmässig gemäss «Sicherheitshin-
weise» ent sorgen.
GARANTIE
Für dieses Produkt gilt eine lebenslange Garan-
tie ab Kaufdatum. Während der Garantiezeit
repariert oder ersetzt Microlife, nach eigenem
Ermessen, das defekte Produkt kostenlos.
Durch Öffnen oder Ändern des Geräts erlischt
die Garantie.
Folgende Punkte sind von der Garantie aus-
genommen:
• Transportkosten und Transportrisiken
• Schäden die durch falsche Anwendung oder
Nichteinhaltung der Gebrauchsanweisung
verursacht wurden
• Schäden durch auslaufende Batterien
• Schäden durch Unfall oder Missbrauch
• Verpackungs- / Lagermaterial und Gebrauchs-
anweisung
• Regelmässige Kontrollen und Wartung

Introduire doucement l'embout d'environ 2 - 3 cm
dans le rectum.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Lorsque le symbole «▼» s'affiche dans le coin
inférieur droit de l'écran, la pile est usée et doit
être changée. Pour effectuer son remplacement,
enlever le couvercle du logement de la pile du
thermomètre. Remplacer la pile usée par une
nouvelle pile du même type en veillant à bien
orienter la borne positive (+) vers le haut. Les piles
appropriées peuvent être achetées chez tout
électricien. Pour jeter les piles usées, se reporter
aux «Précautions d'emploi».
GARANTIE
Cet appareil est couvert par une garantie à vie
à compter de la date d›achat. Pendant cette
période de garantie, à notre discrétion, «Microlife»
réparera ou remplacera sans frais le produit
défectueux. Aucun dommage occasionné par
une mauvaise manipulation n'est couvert par
la garantie.
Sont exclus de la garantie, les cas suivants :

BATTERIJ VERVANGEN
Wanneer het symbool «▼» (op-zijn-kop driehoek)
verschijnt op het displayveld, is de batterij leeg
en moet worden vervangen. Om de batterij te
vervangen moet het dekseltje van het batterijvakje
van de thermometer worden verwijderd. Plaats een
nieuwe batterij met de + aan de bovenzijde. Zorg
ervoor dat u een batterij van hetzelfde type bij de
hand heeft. Batterijen kunnen in elke elektricite-
itswinkel worden gekocht. Voor batterij afvoer zie
«Belangrijke veiligheids instructies».
GUARANTEE
Dit apparaat heeft een levenslange garantie
vanaf de aankoopdatum. Tijdens deze garan-
tieperiode zal «Microlife» het defecte product
gratis repareren of vervangen.
