The induction hob is ready for cooking nearly immediately. Never place empty pots/pans on the ceramic
glass cootop. Place the pot/pan always at the center of the induction zone, otherwise the lower part of the
pan is heated unevenly and the food in the pan may burn.
Unsuitable cookware: ceramic, glass, aluminum, pans/pots with rounded/convex bottom or with a diameter
less than 12 cm or greater than 30 cm.
The principle and the advantages of induction heating
The main advantage of the induction heating is the elimination of heat losses, because it heats the bottom of
the pot directly. If you are using electrical hobs with burners or ceramic glass cooktop, the burner or the cook-
top heats up always first and then is the heat transferred to the bottom of the pot. This transition is the source
of high heat losses, especially when the bottom of the pot and the cooktop do not fit exactly to each other
(there is a gap or burned food between them). In contrast, the induction heating warms the bottom of the pot
much faster, and the cooking is then faster as well, using substantially less electrical power.
Place the induction hob on a flat surface in such a way that the openings for air intake and outflow are not
covered. The distance between the wall and the induction hob must be at least 10 cm.
Small hotplate
(1) Switching on
1. After plugging the induction hob in the electric outlet you will hear a beep and you will see [L] on the display.
2. Press the on/off button and the display shows [0N].
3. The induction hob detects if you are using correct cookware. If yes, after the [0N] indicator shows on the
display, press the „Function" button and you can select the cooking setting, the hob will switch on.
4. Otherwise, it is not possible to select the cooking setting after pressing the „Function" button. You will hear
repeated sound signal and the display shows warning notice [EO]. The induction hob will switch to standby
mode after seconds.
(2) Setting the power level
1. Press the „Function" button and the light indicator of power [P] turns on.
2. After switching on, the power level is automatically set to 1300 W.
3. Set the desired power using the control knob in range 200-1200 W (10-stage settings altogether).
