Positioning the linear module
Exhaust the linear module.

1. Push the piston rod by hand into the de
fined park position (e. g. the end posi
tion).
You must press the manual device on the
clamping unit at the same time.
2. Pressurize this park position of the linear
module and then the clamping unit.
3. Complete commissioning in accordance
with the operating instructions for linear
module type HMPL−... .
6 Operation
In the event of a sudden drop in pressure
Check the operation of the HMPL−...−KP−... without work load as follows:

Exhaust the linear module type HMPL−...
Exhaust the clamping unit
Push the piston rod by hand into a park position (press the manual device
at the same time)
Pressurize the park position on the HMPL−...
Pressurize the linear module in the direction of the stroke.
The piston rod may move max. 1 ... 2 mm.

At the same time pressurize the compressed air connection of the park posi

tion on the linear module and the clamping unit.
Clamping the piston rod whilst moving
1. Pressurize the compressed air connection of the park position on the linear
module.
2. Exhaust the clamping unit and then the linear module.
If the work load mass is modified
Compare the permitted loads with your application.
