Installation

The air conditioner must be installed on the vehicle using only the specific original assembly kit. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from the use of non-original material for
installation of the unit. For installation of the air conditioner on the roof of the vehicle, strictly follow
the instructions provided in the "Assembly kit installation manual" contained within the package of
the kit itself. It is reiterated that installation of the unit must be carried out exclusively by technically
specialised personnel, and that this, during the operations, must comply with all the safety
regulations in force.
Install the product, taking the utmost care and caution to avoid accidentally damaging the product. Use
protective gloves.
Before connecting the air conditioner, check that the electrical voltage corresponds to what is indicated
on the appliance identification plate or to that indicated on the plate on the compressor.
After installation, check that the air conditioner does not rest on the power cable.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by someone from the technical service
centre or by someone suitably qualified
Position the air conditioner away from heat sources ensuring sufficient ventilation
We recommend that you wait at least one hour before switching the air conditioner on in order to allow
the refrigeration circuit to be completely efficient.
Please check if, after installing the air conditioner, the height of the vehicle falls within the total height
shown on the registration certificate. If not, contact the vehicle manufacturer.
ATTENTION: To avoid any hazard caused by the appliance being unstable, it must be fixed
according to the instructions.

Maintenance and safety

Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning operation, disconnect the power supply.
Keep ventilation openings free from obstructions.
Always carry out the inspections, checks, and scheduled maintenance described in this manual.
Do not attempt to open or repair the air conditioner.
For any operational problems contact the Vitrifrigo Service Centre closest to you; in any case, request
the assistance of a suitably qualified person.
For appliances intended to be used at altitudes higher than 2000 m, contact the manufacturer.
2.5

Disposal

Do not throw the packaging used for your appliance away. Separate the materials according to local
waste disposal regulations.
This product must not be disposed of in municipal waste but as a separate collection.
Contact your nearest Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) collection
centre or take it to a retailer when purchasing a new, equivalent appliance.
The symbol shown indicates that the air conditioner cannot be disposed of as urban
waste.
Improper disposal or incorrect use of the air conditioner is subject to administrative and/or
criminal penalties imposed by the current legislation.
