Troubleshooting - Samlex Solar SCC-30AB Mode D'emploi

The SCC-30AB is very rugged and designed for the most extreme operating
conditions. Most PV system problems will be caused by connections, voltage drops,
and loads.
Troubleshooting the SCC-30AB controller is simple. Some basic troubleshooting
procedures are listed below.
Protections & Fault Messages on the LCD Display & Fault LED
Table 7.1 gives fault messages displayed on the LCD screen and status of the Red
Fault LED when SCC-30AB stops operating due to protections / system error:

TroubleshooTing

CAUSE OF FAULT / REMEDy
The current exceeds 45 A
Heat sink temperature exceeds 90 ºC
The CPU is not able to exchange data with
the Display Panel
1. Low battery voltage:
< 9 V for 12 V Battery
< 18 V for 24 V Battery
2. If this symptom is for a 12 V Battery
System, check & ensure that DIP Switch
1 at the back of the unit is selected for
12 V battery and not for 24 V battery.
Operating temperature is below 0 ºC (32 ºF).
Ensure operating temperature is above 0 ºC
(32 ºF).
1. Lower limit of temperature compensation
is 0 ºC.
2. Negative values can't be displayed.
