13. Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant sta-
tutory regulations.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries

As a consumer you are required (Battery Ordinance)to responsibly dispose of all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries;it is forbidden to throw them away with the normal household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the fol-
lowing symbol, indicating that it is not permitted to dispose of them in the domestic refu-
se. The symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd= cadmium, Hg= mer-
cury, Pb= lead (the names are indicated on the battery/accumulator, e.g. underneath the
dustbin symbol depicted on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point in your local
community, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

14. Troubleshooting

• Is there any mains voltage?
• Is the device connected to the power supply?
• Is the control unit switched on?
• Has the correct input been chosen on the monitor?
• Have you connected the control unit properly?
• Have you connected the cameras and the cables correctly?
• Is the camera's lense covered?
