• Always only pull the plug-in power supply from the mains socket by the gripping area provided on the
side. Never pull the cable of the plug-in power supply.
If the camera and the control unit are not used for a long period of time (e.g. storage) switch them off.
Disconnect the plug-in power supply from the mains socket.

11. Maintenance and cleaning

None of the components inside these devices is to be serviced by the user. There-
fore never open it. Any maintenance or repair and the ensuing opening of the pro-
duct may only be carried out by an expert or a specialist workshop.
Before carrying out any cleaning, the product is to be separated from the mains
voltage, pull the plug-in power supply from the mains socket.
Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera or control unit, separate it from the mains voltage
and disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the devices, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. For stronger contamination of
the camera, you can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the lens very carefully, you may otherwise scratch it.
Allow the devices to dry off thoroughly before connecting the plug-in power sup-
ply with the mains adapter and restarting the control unit.

12. Replacing the batteries

If the range of the provided remote control is reduced, the battery (type: CR2032, 3 V/DC) has to be
replaced.
To properly replace the battery, proceed as follows:
• Pull out the battery compartment from the remote control as illustrated to
the right.
• Remove the used battery.
• Insert a type CR2032 (3 V/DC) battery. Watch out for the right polarity
(positive terminal faces towards the back of the remote control).
• Carefully slide the battery holder back into the remote control.
