Intended use

The battery-powered lawnmower is intended for
cutting small to medium-sized lawns in private
household gardens and allotments. The lawn-
mower is not permitted to be used for other pur-
poses as this would cause hazards for the user's
body and the bodies of other people. Only use
the machine for its intended purpose as described
here. The manufacturer cannot be held responsi-
ble for a failure to observe the instructions from
the generally applicable guidelines, as well as the
instructions from this manual.
The lawnmower is not permitted to be
used to trim bushes, hedges and shrubs,
or to cut and break up plants or grass on roofs or
in balcony boxes. Furthermore, the lawnmower
may not be used as a chipper to shred tree and
hedge cuttings, as well as to even out ground
unevenness.

Operator requirements

Never let children work with the device.
Never let adults without proper training work with
the device.
The user must have read the operating manual
carefully and understood it before using the de-
vice.
Qualifications: Apart from comprehensive instruc-
tion by an experienced person, no special qualifi-
cations are required to use the device.
Minimum age: The device may only be operated
by people over 18 years of age. One exception is
if the person under 18 is using the device with the
supervision of a trainer as part of vocational train-
ing to become proficient.
Local regulations may stipulate a minimum age
for operators.
Training: Only appropriate instruction from an
experienced person or the operating manual is
required to use the device. Special training is not
required.

Residual risks

Even if the tool is used properly, there is always a
residual risk that cannot be excluded. Due to the
type and design of the tool, the following potential
dangers may result:
Never reach below the cover while the device is
running. Wear safety shoes. Never remove the
catcher bag when the device is running.
Search for foreign objects on surfaces to be mo-
wed in advance. Ensure that the catcher bag is
attached properly. Wear safety goggles while
working.
When working with the device, always ensure
that the lighting or lighting conditions are ade-
quate.

Conduct in an emergency

Danger of injury!
Never place hands or feet close to rotating parts. Al-
ways keep your distance from the discharge open-
ing.
Initiate the required first aid measures and obtain
qualified medical assistance as soon as possible.
Protect casualties against further injuries and keep
them calm. A first aid box that complies with DIN
13164 must always be kept to hand at the place of
work in case of accidents. Replenish items taken
from the first aid kit immediately. If you call for as-
sistance, specify the following:
1. Accident location
2. Accident type
3. Number of casualties
4. Type of injuries

The rotating blades can cause severe
injuries due to cuts or can cause body
parts to be cut off.
Stones or earth being ejected can
cause injuries.
Inadequate lighting/lighting conditions
are an extreme safety risk.
