4. Patrol Settings (dtx400/400d.c. only)
A patrol is journey between a string of presets with various delays at each preset position, until a
pan or tilt button is operated when the process stops.
Each drx 400 receiver is capable of operating two patrol modes made up of the 16 presets.
When a preset is programmed it is automatically entered into both patrols. The user/installer may
remove a preset from either or both patrols if desired.
Starting a patrol
On starting a patrol the receiver will automatically move to the first preset position if it has not been
programmed out of the sequence.
To start patrol 1.
Press and hold set whilst pressing autopan.
To start patrol 2.
Press and hold set whilst pressing aux
PATROL 1 START
PATROL 2 START
The patrol function enables a string of presets to be selected in turn, switching between presets
after a fixed period of time, initially factory set at 30 seconds.
Note: Once the factory setting of 30 seconds has been altered to some other value, that particular
setting cannot be recovered.
The patrols can be stopped at any time by pressing LEFT, RIGHT, UP or DOWN
To Programme a Patrol
There is no separate patrol programming function with the Dedicated Micros dtx 400 keyboard.
Once a preset has been programmed it is automatically included in patrols 1. and 2.
