7. Troubleshooting

Problem
Pump is running,
but doesn't deliver

The pumps are virtually maintenance-free.
After having pumped chlorinated swimming pool water or other
liquids leaving residues, the pump should be rinsed with clear
water.
The sensors will only work reliably if they are cleaned regu-
larly (at least every 2 months) !
v Clean the sensors
cloth (do not use hard or sharp objects).

DANGER ! Electric shock !
Risk of injury due to electric shock.

V Disconnect the pump from the mains before
cleaning the suction base and impeller.

1. Unscrew the 6 Phillips screws
off the pump.
2. Clean suction base
3. Reinstall the suction base
For safety reasons a damaged impeller
changed by the GARDENA Service Centre.

Air cannot escape.
Non-return valve inserted

Air locks in the suction base.
Impeller clogged.

Remedy
v Open pressure line.
v Remove the non-return valve.
v Insert the non-return valve
with the word UP on top.
v Wait for max. 60 seconds
until the pump deaerates
automatically over the vent
valve. If necessary, switch
off and start it again.
v Disconnect plug and clean
impeller (see 6. Maintenance).
