USE OF THE MACHINE

IMPORTANT: Only work on materials recommended by the manufacturer
and only use the machine for the work described in this manual.
1. Hold the machine handles firmly with both hands. Spread the legs slightly (so
that your feet are slightly further apart than your shoulders' width), keep a stable
working posture and distribute your weight evenly on each leg.
2. Run the engine at the proper speed for drilling without unnecessarily raising the
level required.
3. If the machine starts to vibrate or jerk, stop the engine and thoroughly check the
machine. Do not operate the machine until the fault is repaired.
4. This product is equipped with a centrifugal clutch, so that the cutting attachment
starts as soon as the engine starts.
5. Never touch the muffler, spark plug or other metal parts of the engine during
operation or immediately after shutdown. In these circumstances, the risk of burns
or electric shock is important.
IF SOMEONE COMES – IMMEDIATELY STOP THE ENGINE
- Be aware of your surroundings, constantly check the condition of the work area to
avoid any accident in case of intrusion of person or animal into the work area.
- Guard against hazardous situations at all times. Warn adults to keep pets and
children away from the work area. Be careful if someone approaches you.
Injury may result from flying debris.
- If someone calls you out or otherwise interrupts you while working, always be
sure to turn off the engine before turning towards the person.
MAINTENANCE
1. In order to maintain your product in proper working condition, perform the
maintenance and checking operations described in the manual at regular intervals.
2. Always be sure to turn off the engine and remove the spark plug before
performing any maintenance or checking procedures.
Warning: The metallic parts reach elevated temperatures immediately
after stopping the engine.
3. Whenever replacing the bits or any other part, make sure to only use certified
parts.
4. In the event that any part must be replaced, or any maintenance or repair work
not described in this manual must be performed, please contact an authorized
service center for assistance.
5. Under no circumstances should you ever take apart the product or alter it in any
way. Doing so might result in the product becoming damaged during operation or
the product becoming unable to operate properly.

HANDLING FUEL

1. The engine is designed to run on unleaded gasoline. WARNING: gasoline is
highly flammable. Never store cans of fuel or refill the tank of the unit in any place
where there is a boiler, stove, wood fire, electrical sparks, welding sparks, or any
other source of heat or fire which might ignite the fuel.
2. Never smoke while operating the unit or refilling its fuel tank.
3. When refilling the tank, always turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
Take a careful look around to make sure that there are no sparks or open flames
anywhere nearby before refuelling.
4. Wipe spilled fuel completely using a dry rag if any fuel spillage occurs during
refuelling.
