The following modes are available:
Mode 1 | 12 V (14.7 V / 3.5 A)
Suitable for batteries with a capacity of more
than 5 Ah in cold state or for many EFB (Enhanced
Flooded Battery) batteries.
When the C1 charger power on, the LED Standby (7)
lights up. Press the mode button (8), the LED
Charging (11) will light up. If no further action is
taken, then charging will automatically start after a
few seconds.
After successful charging of the battery, the LED
(10) will light up and LED Charging (11) go
FULL
out.
The charger has a automatic trickle charging mode,
when switched on the LED Charging (11) light up.
Trickle charging mode characteristic:
14.7 V – 15 V, with max. 200 mA

Pulse charging

This is an automatic charger function which
cannot be selected manually. If the battery
voltage in 12 V mode is between 4.5 V (± 0.5 V)
and 10.5 V (± 0.5 V) at the start of charging,
the charger switches automatically to pulse

charging. On attaining a battery voltage above
10.5 V (± 0.5 V), the charger switches auto-
matically to the charging mode previously
selected. This enhances the charging process.

Appliance protection function

The charger switches to standby mode in the follow-
ing abnormal situations.
3 Battery voltage < 4.5 V+/– 0.5 V
(12 V batteries)
3 Open circuit
3 Reverse polarity
Totally discharged battery
If the battery voltage is less than 4.5 V, the
lights up. If no other setting is made, the system
remains in standby mode.
In the event of a short circuit at the charging cable,
a internal fuse prevents damage to the device and
the electrical system

Overheating protection

If the unit becomes excessively hot during charging,
the output power is automatically reduced to avoid
damaging the unit.
