If there is a leak at the regulator/cylinder valve connecti-
on: disconnect the connection, reconnect it and carry out
another leak test. Apply the soap solution to all hose and
valve connections. If you continue to see bubbles after se-
veral attempts, the cylinder valve is defective and should
be returned to the point of sale of the bottle.
6.
If there is a leak at the hose/valve connection: This part
is defective and you should contact customer service for
replacement.
If NO bubbles appear at any connection, the connections
are safe.
NOTE: Whenever gas connections are loosened or removed,
you must perform a full leak test.
Before switching on the gas supply
1.
Your heater is designed and approved for outdoor use only. DO NOT use it inside a building,
garage or other enclosed space.
2.
Ensure that the environment is free from flammable materials, petrol and other flammable
vapours or liquids.
3.
Ensure that ventilation is not obstructed. Make sure that all gas connections are tight and that
there are no leaks.
4.
Make sure that the cylinder cover is free of deposits. Ensure that all components removed
during installation or maintenance are replaced and secured before starting.
Before the ignition process
1.
The heater should be thoroughly inspected by a qualified service person before each use and
at least once a year. When a hot heater is re-ignited, it should always be serviced for at least
5 minutes.
2.
Inspect the hose assembly for signs of excessive abrasion, cuts or wear. Suspicious areas
should be checked for leaks. If the hose is leaking, it must be replaced before operation. Only
use the replacement hose line specified by the manufacturer.
Light up
1.
Turn the control knob to the „OFF" position.
2.
The ignition requires an AAA battery (not included).
3.
Open the gas cylinder valve slowly.
4.
Press and hold the ignition button with one hand, press the
control knob with the other hand and turn it to the „LOW" po-
sition to ignite the burner.
